FAQs
How does it work?
Starting point - what do you want?
We start by discussing your ideas, requirements, and budget. We discuss the space you want us to embellish, as well as the atmosphere and feel you want it to create. Ideally we do this with a visit to the space in question, but can also work from provided photographs and measurements.
Research and Concept
Next, we share references and digital sketches showing exactly how the mural will look on your wall before any painting begins. A detailed quote will be provided at this point.
Colour & Preparation
We hand-mix colours to perfectly match your room's existing interior palette using non-toxic, low-odour emulsion paints safe for indoor use. For outdoor murals we use a combination of hard-wearing masonry paint with a UV resistant varnish to avoid sun bleaching. All tools are carefully prepared to guarantee a flawless, clean, and professional application.
Hand-Painted Application
Our artists bring the design to life entirely by hand. Using expert brushwork and layering techniques, we translate the digital mockup directly onto your wall with beautiful depth, precision, and care.
The Finished Artwork
The completed mural delivers a stunning, luxury transformation. The unique texture of custom hand-painted art adds a level of sophistication and bespoke character that mass-produced wallpaper simply cannot replicate.
How long does it take?
Most murals can be completed in 1-3 days depending on size, level of detail and location.
How does pricing work?
We will provide you with a quote on a fixed price basis taking into account the design detail, scale and location. This price will be inclusive of all digital design work, materials and expenses.
What type of wall is best for murals?
A smooth plastered wall is best for painting a mural because it’s flat enough for fine detail. Brick and other rough surfaces can work too, but the design is often simplified to suit the texture.
How durable is a mural, and is it washable?
Murals are designed for long-term durability. Indoor murals receive a protective matte varnish if needed, though most spots can be wiped away with a damp cloth even without sealant. Outdoor murals are painted and sealed with UV-resistant products to protect against sun fading
